I am Maïwenn, mother of a 2 year old boy and the creator behind Ywena

With the pregnancy and the birth of my first child, I discovered a whole new world: the world of motherhood

While preparing for childbirth, I had an insatiable thirst for learning, and through my research I came across cloth diapers. I loved the concept as much for the environment as the potential economy and started making wipes and my first flat diapers for my baby with my mom while expecting baby

I loved taking the time to do it myself so during my maternity leave, I started with Ywena at the end of 2019

My confections are not perfect, nor identical to each other because it is handmade, it gives them character. I can assure you that I would not sell a product that I will not buy for myself, that I select beautiful materials and that my stitching is strong

I continue in this momentum, incorporating other Canadian and international companies, to offer you more choices of products and prices, as well as fabrics and sewing accessories for those who want to make their own creations

It will not be uncommon for you to see pictures of our furry friends passing by, because I am in love with animals and even more our cats!
